mSignal — AI-first investment management application
Construct portfolios, route orders, screen counterparties, and measure performance — all on one application purpose-built for investment managers, fund managers, trading desks and portfolio managers. AI automates the routine work throughout; a human always makes the call on anything that moves money.
Four core modules handle the front and middle office. Four extended modules complete coverage through screening, settlement, treasury and corporate action processing — together, all eight standard lifecycle stages.
| Module | Purpose | Office |
|---|---|---|
| Portfolio Management (PMS) | Construct and monitor portfolios, enforce investment compliance, model scenarios | Front office |
| Order Management (OMS) | Capture, validate, route and reconcile orders across the trade lifecycle | Front / middle |
| Performance Attribution | Measure returns, decompose performance into allocation and selection effects | Middle office |
| P&L / Mark-to-Market | Value positions, track realised and unrealised profit and loss | Middle office |
| AML / Sanctions | Screen counterparties and issuers against sanctions and watchlists | Middle office |
| SWIFT Messaging | Confirm trades and instruct settlement via SWIFT MT messages | Middle / back |
| Treasury Operations | Manage cash, liquidity, funding and FX hedging | Back office |
| Corporate Actions | Process dividends, splits, rights issues and coupons | Back office |
Where investment managers, fund managers, portfolio managers construct portfolios, route orders, and measure what worked.
mSignal isn't a fifth dashboard — it's the layer underneath all four. A position update in Portfolio Management is instantly visible in Attribution and P&L without a batch job; a compliance rule set once governs every order the desk routes. Front office and middle office look at different dashboards, but they're always looking at the same live state.
Outcome: a portfolio that's always provably within mandate, with breaches caught the moment they happen instead of in a next-day report.
Mandate terms, target allocations, risk limits and live positions.
Real-time compliance status, drift alerts, and a sandbox to test changes before they go live.
Outcome: every order is compliant before it's routed, and executed through the broker best positioned to fill it well.
An order, in natural language or a structured ticket, plus live portfolio and market state.
A validated, routed order with an execution report and a three-way reconciliation against custodian records.
Outcome: a clear, defensible answer to "why did we perform the way we did" — down to the individual holding.
Portfolio returns, benchmark returns, and the allocation decisions behind them.
Return decomposition, risk-adjusted metrics, and an AI-drafted narrative ready for investor reporting.
Outcome: a P&L number the manager trusts every morning, with every valuation traceable to its source.
Live market feeds for listed assets; models and independent marks for unlisted holdings.
Real-time and daily P&L, realised vs. unrealised, with full price-source transparency.
mSignal uses AI for process and workflow automation throughout every module above. Decision-making always remains with the user.
When the AI detects an exception or anomaly, it flags the finding, recommends a fix, applies that fix automatically for reversible non-financial operations, and presents what it did. If you disagree, the fix is reversed and you correct it manually — every auto-fix is logged with a before-and-after state.
The AI never auto-applies anything that moves money, routes an order, changes a position, resolves a compliance breach, or alters a valuation. These always wait for a human — the hardest line on the application, held regardless of your autonomy setting.
Two capability groups that extend the core application through the rest of the trade lifecycle — completing coverage from front-office decision to back-office processing.
Before an order routes, counterparties are screened against global sanctions and watchlists — a confirmed hit blocks routing outright, and relationships are re-screened on a risk-based cycle. Once executed, mSignal generates and reconciles the SWIFT messages that confirm trades and instruct settlement, catching cash discrepancies against custodian records at source.
Cash, liquidity and FX exposure are managed with a live consolidated balance view, a rolling liquidity forecast, and hedging for a multi-currency APAC book. Corporate actions — dividends, splits, rights issues, coupons — are calculated automatically, with any position or cash adjustment always queued for human confirmation before it's applied.
Tell us about your portfolio construction model, trading and allocation strategies and current stack, and we'll walk you through fit.
mSignal deploys into your firm's own private cloud — there is no shared infrastructure and no other client ever touches your environment. These are the application-wide capabilities that make automation safe within it.
